This year's event will feature a one month trek from North to South instead of the usual 15 days. All 27 sections will be hiked!

 

The LMTA 2023 Fall Trek will be jointly managed and operated by the LMTA and 33 North (member of USEIL).

Options for Participation

1. Hike sections for any number of nights and days as follows:
    Weekdays: a minimum of 1 night / 1 day
    Week-ends: a minimum of 2 nights / 2 days (Friday to Sunday)

2. Walk the entire trail for 30 days

Standalone day hikes are not accepted!

 

Booking Schedules and Deadlines

  • Booking is on a first-come first-served basis, and subject to a full payment within the first 4 days of registration.
  • Maximum number of hikers per day/overnight: 18 hikers/ day
  • Each hiker needs to fill in a separate registration request, as the system does not accept group registrations

Waiting List

Fully booked and you still want to hike? Please ask to have your name on the waiting list by sending an email to info@lebanontrail.org. It will be treated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The LMTA reserves all rights to accept or deny an application upon its own discretion.

Solidarity Tourism Rate

We understand that many resident Lebanese students are passing through difficult times, and so the LMTA has taken the initiative of introducing the “Solidarity Tourism Rate” suggested by USEIL 2 years ago and the LMTA will secure the funding for it. This will enable any resident Lebanese student between the ages of 18 and 25 unable to afford the basic rate to join us in this year's Fall Trek for $95 per day instead of the $110 basic daily rate.

 

If this is you, please send us an email to info@lebanontrail.org (before or after making your booking) with a brief justifier and a university ID. Limited places are available on a daily basis.

 

Hikers who get the Solidarity Tourism Rate are allowed to join for a maximum of 3 days / 3 nights during weekdays in order to give a chance to other hikers.

 

In a true spirit of solidarity and by paying the full rates or even more, International hikers and resident Lebanese participants will be indirectly contributing in covering anonymously the subsidized price of the resident Lebanese students benefiting from the solidarity tourism rate.

 

Discounts

  • Booking the full Fall Trek is subject to a 5% discount
  • Members receive a 10% discount
  • Members who book the full Fall Trek receive a 15% discount.

Any student benefiting from the Solidarity Tourism Rate does not benefit from the above discounts
